Terms and Conditions

Payment can either be paid in full up front when the order is taken or in 2 stages:

Save the date booking fee – a 50% non-refundable booking fee is payable when the cake is booked. This payment will guarantee the date you require.

The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before the cake is collected/delivered for cakes under £150 and 4 weeks before for cakes over this price. 

Payment can be made by cash or bank transfer.

If you cancel your order the 50% booking fee is non-refundable. If you have paid in full upfront then 50% will be refunded.

If you cancel your order after the final balance has been paid, no refund is possible.

If you wish to postpone your cake I will keep the booking fee and book a new date providing it is available. 

Your cake can be collected from me or delivered to the venue. Delivery is free up to a 9 mile radius from my home on items of £45.00 or over. Each additional mile incurs a extra £1.00 charge (which covers there and back for me). Wedding cakes : delivery and set up POA.

If you are collecting you must have a completely flat surface to transport it on and once collected the cake is no longer my responsibility and I can not be held responsible for any damage that may occur. It is also your responsibility or the venue’s to store the cake at the correct temperature. Advice will be given on the shelf life of each cake which will depend on the type of cake. Please note that cakes that are sugar pasted should not be refrigerated. Instead they should be kept in a cool dry place in the box provided.

In the unlikely event that there is a problem with your cake please let me know within 24 hours by calling 07966689256 and following the call up with an email outlining the problem. Any refund for disputes regarding any aspect of the cake are not automatic and at my discretion. If a cake has been consumed regardless of the dispute, a full refund will never be given. I do not accept responsibility for loss, damage or non-delivery under unavoidable or exceptional circumstances.

Cakes are always photographed from different angles when delivered to a venue to record the delivery and the cake’s quality on delivery. For wedding cakes it is recommended that wedding insurance is taken out to cover any unforeseen eventualities. 

I reserve the right to take images of any cake I have made at any stage of its making, completion and final position if delivering. These images may be used on my website and social media.
