 Cake Flavours


                   
Here is a list of the most popular sponge and filling choices I receive requests for:


Vanilla

Vanilla sponge sandwiched with seedless raspberry or smooth strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream.


Lemon

Lemon sponge made with lemon zest sandwiched with lemon curd and tangy lemon buttercream or lemon sponge drizzle with lemon buttercream.


Orange

Orange sponge made with orange zest sandwiched with zingy orange buttercream.


Red Velvet

Rich red velvet sponge sandwiched and vanilla buttercream.


Chocolate

Rich chocolate sponge sandwiched with chocolate buttercream.

Chocolate orange sponge sandwiched with chocolate orange buttercream or chocolate orange ganache.

Rich chocolate sponge sandwiched with mint buttercream.


Salted Caramel

Caramel sponge sandwiched with salted caramel sauce and vanilla buttercream.


Coffee and Walnut

Coffee and walnut sponge sandwiched with coffee buttercream.


For a sugarpasted cake, these cakes would be coated in white or milk chocolate ganache then sugarpasted. They can also be left in their ganached form with a slightly thicker layer of ganache.


Rich fruit cakes

Rich fruit cakes need ordering at least 3 months in advance to mature and then are coated with a layer of marzipan. There is also an additional charge for this cake due to the extra cost of ingredients and marzipan.


Please note that if you have a specific flavour combination not listed here that you would like please ask, I am always willing to try new flavours.


Wedding cake samples

I am happy to make up four of the sponge flavours as samples. These cost £25.
